PSP has selected the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust as its chosen charity for the PSP Southampton Boat Show.
Each year PSP, title sponsor of the show, chooses a cause to support throughout the event and helps it to raise awareness through use of its hospitality suite and high-profile stand during the show.
PSP’s managing director Frank Dixie said: “It is our pleasure to support the fantastic work of Dame Ellen and the Trust by selecting them as our chosen charity for the PSP Southampton Boat Show 2013.
“The work they do with young people with extremely challenging conditions is inspiring and we are looking forward to supporting them throughout the show.”
The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust takes young people sailing to help them regain their confidence, on their way to recovery from cancer, leukaemia and other serious illness.
Dame Ellen MacArthur said: “We’re delighted PSP has chosen us as their show charity. This is a fantastic opportunity to further raise the profile of the work of the Trust with a key audience and generate much-needed support.”
