Southampton-based Moore Blatch has promoted senior solicitor Fiona Heald, from the court of protection team in the Lymington office, to a partner.
She is an accredited trust and estate practitioner, a dementia friends champion and a fellow of the association of taxation technicians. She is also a member of the society of trust and estate practitioners and treasurer of the solicitors for the elderly, south central division.
She has worked in Hampshire law firms as a private client lawyer for 23 years and has been at Moore Blatch for just over two years where she is head of the Court of Protection team. She is passionate about looking after the interests of vulnerable people and takes her role as the “voice” of her client very seriously.
She commented: “I love my clients. I work with elderly people and, where appropriate, their carers, helping them deal with the issues that arise in later life. They have so much life experience behind them and are fascinating to listen to. I like to stand up for those people that perhaps may not have the words, energy or ability to do so for themselves.”
