Local signage and graphics specialist, FASTSIGNS Southampton, has officially launched with a celebratory event attended by the mayor of Eastleigh, councillor Darshan Mann. The new mayor, who was elected in May 2019, cut the ribbon inaugurating the new site as one of his first official engagements.

The centre has been providing signage to businesses in the Southampton area since November 2018. The grand opening event cemented the centre’s first six months in business and welcomed friends, family, customers and suppliers to celebrate.

FASTSIGNS Southampton is operated by husband and wife team, Dapo and Ronke Osula and is based in Chandler's Ford at the Brickfield Trading Estate. The centre is one of 22 FASTSIGNS centres that provides a wide range of signage solutions, visual communication and graphic design support to businesses, across the nation. The Southampton centre is no exception and helps local businesses by delivering services that include the design and creation of banners, exterior building signs, interior office signs, vehicle graphics and signage for windows, walls, doors and floors.

During the grand opening event, guests had the chance to become signmakers for themselves and created their own vinyl coasters and mugs to take home.

Commenting on the launch Ronke Osula said: “We’ve had the pleasure of calling Southampton home for some time now and it really is a fantastic city that is thriving with many excellent businesses. It was great to be able to share our launch celebrations with so many business people from the area and of course, mayor Darshan Mann. Over the past six months, we have accomplished so much, including the set up of the centre and helping clients with their signs and graphics. We’re really looking forward to what the next six months will bring, we can’t wait to help more businesses across Southampton get the most out of their visual communication strategies.”

Husband and co-owner Dapo Osula, added: "We’ve worked in the promotional and merchandising sector for many years but our FASTSIGNS centre is an exciting new venture for us that will allow us to put our expertise to good use to help even more companies breathe new life into their graphics and signage.”
