Southampton: Evolution5 appoints head of cost management

Evolution5, the Southampton-based construction consultancy, has appointed Chris Burnell as head of cost management and leader of the cost consultancy team. He will be responsible for expanding the customer base in the residential, industrial, commercial, and healthcare sectors, and the company’s work with schools and universities.

He has 15 years’ experience in cost consultancy and project management, included senior-consultant and associate positions for other leading construction consultancies. He has provided cost management services for projects across the south, including an 18^th century warehouse conversion into apartments in Dartmouth, the re-modelling of a primary school in Reading, a £15 million mixed-use waterfront development on the Thames in London, and the construction of 80 industrial units in Aylesbury.
