Keynote speakers Claire Barber and David Pollock from British Land will share information on how they delivered the new £84 million Whiteley Village despite the challenging economic climate, at the next South Coast Real Estate Network event. BDO Southampton, Blake Lapthorn, Barclays Real Estate and Lambert Smith Hampton are again joining forces to host the early evening event at the Ageas Bowl on Tuesday June 25.

As one of Europe’s largest Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), British Land is the largest listed retail landlord with total assets, owned or managed, of £16.4 billion and with a retail portfolio comprising 29 million sq ft of retail space across 80 retail parks, 91 superstores, 17 shopping centres and 13 department stores.

Graham Holland, head of Lambert Smith Hampton’s South Coast offices, said: “We are thrilled that such a significant force in the real estate sector as British Land has agreed to speak at our South Coast Real Estate Network event. We would encourage people working in this industry to come along and find out just how they have delivered the Whiteley retail and leisure development in the current environment.”
