Southampton: Bed manufacturer wins national acclaim

Southampton-based company Millbrook Beds was delighted to win the Small Bed Manufacturer of the Year Award 2018 at the National Bed Federation (NBF) Bed Show in Telford at the end of last month. 

Millbrook Beds was one of seven industry champions scooping awards at the gala evening. 

Millbrook Beds is a family-run and owned business which has been making handmade beds in Totton, near Southampton, for more than 70 years. Each Millbrook mattress is individually hand-made using traditional craftsmanship and the finest natural fabrics and fillings, such as cashgora, bamboo, wool and silk.

The mattresses feature individually hand-nested pocket springs, which move independently of each other, eliminating roll-together and so relieving pressure points all over the body. This enables ultimate spine and body support and allows the muscles to relax.

Winning the award was the icing on the cake for Millbrook Beds which enjoyed a successful Bed Show, unveiling three new updates to the extensive mattress range, and 20 new divan and headboard colours.
