Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP is continuing its investment and focus on top talent with the promotion of Arbinder Chatwal to audit partner.
Chatwal has been a director at BDO’s Southampton office since 2012 where he is part of a 100 strong audit practice. He has been instrumental in driving BDO’s successful campaign to promote and support the Central South Mid Market and in particular advises companies seeking to expand internationally. He is also head of India Advisory Services for the firm.
Chatwal comments: “I’m delighted to be joining the partner group at BDO in the city where I grew up. I’m genuinely excited about driving our agenda to support the mid-market as I really believe in the potential of our local companies to continue to grow and thrive.”
Malcolm Thixton, lead partner at BDO, added: “We are keen to invest in and develop the best quality talent to continue to meet the needs of businesses in the region at a time of great change and uncertainty. We believe that a ‘new economy’ is needed which makes the most of the UK’s talents, skills and entrepreneurial spirit. Arbinder will be using his experience and knowledge to support this in the central south.”
