South West law firm Thrings bolsters property litigation expertise with two appointments

South West law firm Thrings has boosted its property expertise with two new lawyer appointments.
Jonathan Bouchta, based in Bristol, becomes a new partner and joins from GA Solicitors in Plymouth, while Simon Mcllroy joins Thrings as a legal director in its Bath office from Osborne Clarke.

Michael Tatters, partner and head of property litigation at Thrings, said: "It is great to have both Jonathan and Simon join Thrings. Their combined experience really pushes us forward in being able to provide the best possible advice to our clients, whether from a residential or commercial perspective, and I’m pleased they are now part of the team."

Bouchta brings more than 20 years of experience in dispute resolution across the full spectrum of property issues.

He regularly acts for clients in the courts on matters ranging from breaches of covenants and property contracts to misrepresentation claims and property related professional negligence.

Meanwhile, Mcllroy brings a commercial focus, having acted for landlords and tenants as well as developers and those affected by the development of land. He also boasts expertise on advising around property issues relating to telecoms.
