South: New finance director for Clarke Willmott

National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has appointed Dr James Nussey as its new director of finance. He succeeds Bob Bruce who has retired after six years at the firm’s financial helm, and will be heading up a 20-strong accounts, credit control and financial management team.

Nussey moves to the law firm’s Bristol headquarters from listed education-support-services provider Tribal Group, where he has spent the past six years in a number of different finance roles.

Stephen Rosser, chief executive of Clarke Willmott, said: “While Bob Bruce has been our director of finance we have expanded from four offices to seven nationally, and the partnership has grown from 71 to 104, so it’s been an exciting period and he’s made an invaluable contribution.”
