South Coast: Philippa Robinson joins Meta to boost Solent activity

Meta Corporate Finance has announced that Philippa Robinson has joined the firm as an associate. Bringing her experience from London back to the South Coast she joins Scott Taylor and Simon Wilson to widen the reach of Meta from the South East to the Solent.

Robinson had previously been a prominent member of the South Coast corporate finance community and says she is delighted to be back.  She previously held positions with Wilkins Kennedy Corporate Finance, Liberum and finnCap.
Meanwhile, Philippa Robinson, Emma Lane and Maxine Hennessey have announced the relaunch of the original  “No Balls Allowed” networking group on May 1 with an afternoon tea at Limewood Hotel. As before, the group aims to provide a network for senior women in the corporate finance arena. Limited spaces are available - email pip@metacf.co.uk for further information.
Separately, Southampton Corporate Finance drinks  took place in February - the first drinks event for the corporate finance community in the region for some years.
Jamie Roberts from YFM sponsored the event which is arranged by Jonathan Hughes from Leumi ABL and Philippa Robinson from Meta Corporate Finance. The event was attended by more than 40 corporate finance professionals.
