KPMG is celebrating 30 years supporting businesses in the Solent region through its Company of the Year award.

The advisory, audit and tax firm has sponsored the category in the Solent Business Awards and previously in the Hampshire Business Awards, giving it 30 years of unbroken support in prestigious awards schemes on the South Coast.

KPMG says of the Company of the Year award: "The Solent region boasts some of the most dynamic and successful companies in the UK. This award recognises the most successful Solent and South Coast companies with a turnover above £10 million, and judges will take into account profitability, innovation and employment growth, as well as the contribution made to the local economy and the provision of support to culture in the region."

This year's Solent Business Awards, which takes place on October 17 at Hilton at Ageas Bowl, Southampton, will be headlined by special guest speaker Tracy Edwards, MBE, and presented by BBC South's Sally Taylor.

The SBA is the leading multi-category awards event for the South Coast. The campaign is sponsored by KPMG, NatWest, BDB Pitmans, Taylor Made Computer Solutions, James Cowper Kreston and Lee Peck Media and is organised by The Business Magazine.

The awards campaign is now open for entries - with a deadline for nominations of July 5.

Companies can enter a maximum of two categories - to download an entry form go here.
