Increasing demand for performance cars, the very best quality aftersales, and performance upgrades has prompted south coast automotive group Hendy to confirm plans for a new division.

Hendy Performance is set to bring the group’s expertise in this area under one roof with a dedicated website and e-shop together with the opening later this year of a showroom and workshop in Hampshire.

Stephen Hendy is set to head up the new division which he said will enable enthusiasts to buy a wide range of performance cars and for owners to access one of the most comprehensive ranges of products from the very best suppliers from around the world.

Hendy Performance will also offer a range of specialist servicing and upgrades for all makes of car and of any age.

“As a leading motoring group we have seen a marked increase in people looking to upgrade everything from performance through to aerodynamics, suspension, wheels and accessories so decided that now is the right time to bring our expertise under one umbrella with Hendy Performance,” said Stephen.

“Customers will be able to buy cars and products directly from us or bring their cars into our new workshop where we will be offering a range of services for road, track, race and rally cars.”

The group operates 12 motor franchises, including Ford, Honda and Mazda at 25 locations in the south of England  and Stephen said that in addition to offering a wide range of products and services Hendy Performance is already planning track days as part of the new division.
