Blake Morgan has been listed in a comprehensive guide to the leading media law firms around the world.

The firm features in the new edition of Media Law International, which lists practitioners with media law expertise across 56 jurisdictions. The guide, which is compiled through independent market analysis and exclusively focuses on media law on an international stage, includes Blake Morgan as a Tier 3 firm. The listing highlights the firm’s expertise in intellectual property, contract issues, licensing, defamation, data protection and copyright disputes.

Blake Morgan’s media law practice is led by partner and head of intellectual property Jill Bainbridge, who said: “The media and entertainment industry continues to grow at a rapid rate, particularly due to the expansion and proliferation of digital platforms which transcend borders and often require an international approach. I am pleased that Blake Morgan’s expertise at this level has been recognised in this highly-regarded, independent guide.”

Blake Morgan has a reputation for expertise in cross-border transactions and advising international clients, and has developed strong relationships with legal and financial communities across all jurisdictions in the world.

The firm is a founder member of TAGLaw, a global alliance of law firms, and its lawyers are also recognised for their international expertise in intellectual property with a listing in World Trademark Review.
