Goadsby’s recent acquisition of Lindesays Estate Agents gives six more offices situated in Romsey, Eastleigh, Winchester, Southampton and two in Chandler's Ford reinforcing the firm's bid for total domination of the Central Southern area.
The company, which is currently ranked 28th in the UK, has grown considerably over the past two years, both incrementally and by acquisition. It enjoys a track record of achievement with a 49-year pedigree in residential and commercial property sectors, employing nearly 400 staff and with a turnover of over £18 million, an increase of nearly 70% over the past five years.
Goadsby chief executive David Errington commented: “Our continued expansion into the Southampton and Winchester areas is part of a strategic plan to increase our network whilst reinforcing our market position and reputation as the leading provider of multi-sector property services in Central Southern England.”
He added: “We are now one of the largest privately owned residential networks in the central south region and together with our Commercial Division and Specialist Sectors are well placed to tackle all aspects of the unique challenges posed by current issues such as brownfield regeneration and mixed use built environments.”
