Slough Estates, the company behind Slough Trading Estate, has announced a fresh new look, including a brand new name.

The change comes as a natural part of their evolution as they continue to expand in the UK and across Europe. The new identity reflects how the company has been developing in recent years, and its recently established status as one of the world’s largest Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

A new name, SEGRO (pronounced see-grow), forms part of the new look. A natural expression of this progression, it is designed to reinforce the dynamism of the company and their continued drive to provide the best to their customers and investors.

Stephen Bailey, regional director of Slough Trading Estate, said: “The new name SEGRO reinforces the direction and the positive momentum of the company as it develops its position as the leading provider of flexible business space not just in Slough but in Europe as a whole. SEGRO embodies the qualities that continue to underpin our commitment to our Trading Estate customers, like flexibility, consistency of delivery and a “can do” approach to the needs of businesses.”

Bailey added: “As we approach the 90th anniversary of the creation of Slough Trading Estate, our commitment to the town and to the businesses based here remains as strong as ever. As SEGRO continues to develop as a leading international business space provider, locally-based companies have the potential to benefit from being part of a growing international business community, which can help facilitate entry into new markets.”
