HMT LLP, led by partner Chris Gow and senior manager Adrian Howells, advised indoor trampoline arena operator GoJumpin (Jump In) on its fundraising supported by Santander Growth Capital (Santander).

Founded by dadpreneurs Vernon West and Gavin Lucas together with mumpreneur Linda Willaford-West, Jump In is a leading UK leisure and recreational activities business. Jump In has three indoor trampoline arenas in Slough, Tonbridge and Warwick and offers jumping, fitness and free-running classes as well as jumping sessions for kids and adults.

Jump In is powered by Altitude, a leading international trampoline park operator with multiple sites across the US as well as arena development in Japan, UAE, South Africa and India.

Jump In will use the new funding package to boost its site opening programme over the next 12 to 18 months, including three new arenas in Enfield, Aberdeen and Poole that are expected to open early in 2017, together with potential further additions in London, Harrogate, Edinburgh, and Crawley.

Vernon West, executive chairman at Jump In, commented: “This transaction enables us to start to reap the benefits of scale and increase our competitive strength. We will continue to invest carefully and will not deviate from our focus on affluent catchments where we can be the only show in town.”

Gow commented: “Driven by a brilliant and energetic management team, Jump In is a fantastic business with great growth prospects. It is unusual for me to work on a deal that earns me kudos from my seven-year-old daughter and that made it particularly rewarding to work with Jump In.”
