Six senior promotions strengthen Surrey’s Amazon Filters
Camberely-based industrial filter specialist Amazon Filters has made six senior promotions with the aim of strengthening its plans for international growth.
The promotions feed into the company's ongoing £1 million investment plan.

“As well as creating new career pathways, their changes of role and responsibilities will strengthen our senior management structure and enhance our ability to support growth through a formal strategic leadership team.”
Matt Fidler has been promoted to Manufacturing Engineering Manager in the firm’s Engineering Department. After joining in 2012 with a degree from the University of Portsmouth, he went on to become the first employee to complete an in-house graduate programme.
He now takes on responsibility for all engineering activities associated with filter cartridge production, including plant and equipment procurement, process development and support, maintenance and product development.
Meanwhile Kris Stobieniecki has been promoted to Technical Manager with full responsibility for the development of products, processes and equipment in the meltblown filter production area.

Also on the Engineering and Technical Support side, both Mihai Holban and Gracjan Stasik have been promoted to Manufacturing Engineers. Their appointments recognise increasing levels of responsibility and commitment as customer needs have evolved in recent years.
Heather Winter is now Lead HR Business Partner in the company’s Human Resources team. At the same time, former HR Manager Ruth Pappadakis steps up to become Head of People and Culture.
Her role includes responsibility for the operational delivery of payroll, recruitment, legal compliance and absence management, plus developmental and strategic activities including training, career progression, employee engagement and company culture.
Ruth said: “I’m thrilled to be taking on this more senior role which is all about strengthening Amazon Filters’ commitment to recognise great employees, provide them with opportunities to realise their potential and align our overall company culture and approach to ESG with our business goals.”
The new roles and responsibilities for the six follow a series of new hires and promotions in 2022, both in the UK and in overseas sales territories.
UK moves included Dean Wilson joining as Procurement Manager and Dan O’Sullivan taking on an expanded remit in the Housing Component Team.
Elsewhere, Amazon Filters hired new, on-the-ground business development managers in both the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions and appointed further partners and distributors to pursue sales growth in these territories.
