Security specialist Monatrix celebrates 20th anniversary

Gloucestershire security specialist Monatrix is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The Quedgeley-based firm specialises in designing, installing and supporting integrated security solutions to UK businesses.

The company was founded in 2003 by Paul Gillings, who already had 10 years experience in the field. Four years later he was joined by Barry Doak as partner and sales director, and the firm expanded after winning a contract with British Gas and Centrica.

In 2021 Monatrix continued to expand their business taking on more employees in the office and the business moved to larger premises at Olympus Park in Quedgeley.

In 2022 Monatrix gave their staff the freedom to develop and take alternative roles as they grow personally within the company. Monatrix is proud to have also developed new engineers who have never worked in the security industry before.

“Our company wouldn’t be what it is today without the wonderful people we have met, and the loyalty that suppliers, customers, and staff have shown to us," said Paul.
