Work on Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealer group Rygor Commercials' new Reading home has begun.
Building has started on the firm's custom-designed new site at the Worton Grange Industrial Park in South Reading. Rigg Construction broke ground on the £2million project this week. The site will have a large and modern sales showroom, as well as spacious truck and van workshop areas on the 44,00 square foot site.
Tim Stacey, co-owner and director of Rygor is pleased by the news, saying: “We are delighted to announce that we will be working with Rigg Construction to bring this industry-leading new commercial vehicle Dealership to life, and are confident the new Rygor Reading branch will be a fantastic addition to our business."
“We invest significantly in our branches, so we can continue to provide the very best customer experience and a great working environment for our team. We are constantly investing in facilities, technology, and our incredible people, and we are so proud of the team we have in place at Rygor Reading, who between them bring decades of experience to the company and our customers. They are extremely experienced, and I know they too are looking forward to the start of an exciting new chapter at our new branch.”
Rygor sales director John Keogh is also excited. He said this: “Our new Reading site will be a fantastic space in which to showcase the range of Mercedes-Benz Vans and eVans."
"It will also provide our expert sales team with the perfect venue to work with our customers to offer them vehicle solutions to meet their business needs. We are delighted that Rigg Construction will be laying the foundations and raising the walls, as Rygor builds on its new and existing customer relationships in the Reading area.”
Work should be completed by the end of the year.
