Gemma Murphy, the founder of Ringwood-based View HR, has been appointed by Stewarts Garden Centres to consult and support the business as it prepares to expand in the south.

Murphy, a leading HR and employment law consultant and former specialist solicitor, said that Stewarts is the first major retailing client in the region to benefit from her extensive employment law experience: "It's a pleasure to work with a business that is so committed to fostering such a positive culture for its employees."

Terry Head, retail and marketing director at Stewarts, said: “Our teams at our Broomhill and Christchurch garden centres, and those in our Nursery and Landscaping businesses, are key to our success. We want to keep our good employment relationship in place as we look to grow.”
