Redditch logistics business announces contract with German manufacturer

Collaboration for Oakland International and Jungheinrich

A Redditch-based food distribution, logistics and multi temperature supply chain operator has agreed a long-term contract with German manufacturer of materials handling equipment and logistics business, Jungheinrich UK.

The contract will combine  technology and optimised processes to deliver business and environmental advantages across Oakland International's supply chain.

Oakland Business Unit Director at Corby, Lee Whiting, said: “We’re delighted to be working in collaboration with Jungheinrich. The partnership will support the growth at Oakland’s Corby site, from 6000 pallets to 15000 pallet capability, and together with freezer investment has opened new business opportunities and contracts.
