2013 was a record year for Spectrum Corporate Finance with nine deals completed including Virgin Wines, Romans and Mountain Warehouse. The total transaction value of over £250 million marks the company as the leading regional corporate finance business focusing solely on lead and debt advisory roles.
The second half of 2013 was particularly strong with six deal completions, reflecting an impressive work-winning period in the first half of 2013. The pipeline and work in progress entering 2014 is exceptionally strong and we anticipate another record year ahead, says managing director Clive Hatchard.
He added: “The success of 2013 is the result of three years' investment in building the team, a first-class advisory board and an un-paralleled international network. We have worked with many of the mid-tier private equity firms this year and been involved in most of the region’s notable transactions."
