Richard Money-Kyrle, one of the South East’s leading medical negligence solicitors, has re-joined Reading-based Boyes Turner as a partner in the medical negligence team. He previously held this position in the firm from 2003 to 2008 before joining Darbys Solicitors in Oxford and subsequently Pennington Manches.
He specialises in medical/clinical negligence litigation, acting for children who have suffered brain injuries such as cerebral palsy before and during birth, as well as patients whose illnesses and medical conditions have not been properly managed by the medical profession. His clinical negligence panel memberships include Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA) where he regularly lectures on its practice and procedure course, and The Law Society. He acts as a professional trustee and is also the legal adviser for the Chiltern Centre based in Henley, a registered charity for disabled children.

Susan Brown, partner and head of Boyes Turner’s medical negligence team, said: “The investment that we have made in growing our medical negligence and related services over the last two years has continued with Richard Money-Kyrle’s arrival. He is an outstanding clinical negligence lawyer and his 20 years’ experience of medical negligence litigation, especially with cerebral palsy and maximum severity cases, will further strengthen the team. It will also help it to cement our reputation as the leading medical negligence team in the region and one of the very best in the UK.”
