Accountancy firm MHA MacIntyre Hudson has added to its Reading team with the appointment of Tallat Mahmood as director of corporate finance.

Laurence Whitehead, Managing Director of MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s Corporate Finance team states“The appointment of Tallat demonstrates our commitment to our clients to provide the very best corporate finance advice nationally.  His M&A experience fits perfectly with that held by the other members of our award-winning corporate finance team and we are confident that Tallat will prove to be a great addition to our team.  We are looking forward to a very successful 2017.”

Jason Mitchell, Partner of MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s Reading office agrees, noting “we, the Reading office Partners, are delighted that Tallat has joined the team. He will head up our delivery of lead advisory services in the local market and work closely with the rest of the existing team which has years of M&A experience to support his contacts and clients.”

Tallat has over 10 years of corporate finance experience, both as an adviser and as an equity investor, and specialises in working with owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs. He has previously advised clients on disposals, buyouts and fundraisings, and also engages with business owners to discuss potential strategic options in order to maximise value.

Although Tallat will be advising businesses across a range of sectors at MHA MacIntyre Hudson, he has a particular sector focus on digital and software businesses, having created his own company in this area previously. He will be focusing on small and medium-sized businesses across the Thames Valley.
