Manrose, a leading British ventilation manufacturer, is delighted to announce it has been named as a winner at the IBA Supplier of The Year 2020 Awards. Voted for by IBA buying group members, Manrose won the ‘Most Improved Supplier’ award, reflecting customers’ positive supply experience through the year and the continuous improvement Manrose strives to implement. The virtual awards took place on Friday, January 15 and celebrated the achievements of the IBA’s 100+ preferred suppliers. The annual ceremony recognises, and shows appreciation for, the extraordinary customer service the IBA’s supply partners provide. As the first-ever virtual IBA awards event, delegates dressed to impress to make the event a memorable one.

Formed in 1993, the IBA is a nationwide group of independent electrical wholesalers that has grown from an initial 10 members to more than 85 members with over 120 branches throughout the UK. Each year, IBA members vote for their favourite suppliers against four criteria: excellence in product range; value for money; service levels; and IBA Group support. The supplier who gains the largest points increase is named as the ‘Most Improved Supplier’ for that year.

“I was delighted to have been able to award Manrose with ‘Most Improved Supplier 2020’. We have a long history with the company which has been a supplier to the group for the past 22 years. The award is decided by comparing a supplier’s scores from the previous year to the scores this year. The suppliers are then ranked on the basis of that improvement. Manrose score improved by 8%, an excellent improvement,” said Paul Jenner, IBA chief operating officer.

“A big thank you to all the valued customers who voted for us, your vote and recognition is most appreciated. This third-party accreditation from our customers means so much to us at Manrose” said Lee Warren, sales director, distribution at Manrose. “As a manufacturer we continually strive to provide quality, reliable products at superb prices for our customers. It’s great to be recognised for that in this way.”

A range of Manrose’s reliable, effective ventilation products is available via the IBA including the new QF100 Quiet Fan that incorporates a high extraction rate whilst producing an incredibly quiet running volume. Designed for wall or ceiling mounting, the unit comes with a performance-enhancing turning vane system located in the spigot. Other products available include the Silent Fan Conceal, with a low sound level of only 16dB(A); the Showerlite and Showerlite LED which is incorporated into a circular diffuser; and the Mixed Flow Range which provides solutions for a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial applications. In addition, there is the 100mm shower in-line fan, the Manrose Quiet Fan, the CF100 centrifugal fan, the Quiet Conceal Fan, PVC Flexi Ducting, and the Continuum Centrifugal fan.

Manrose has also recently launched two new digital channels to make it even easier for customers to access the product information they need. The new website is easy to navigate so customers can find ventilation information quickly and easily, and accessible across a range of mobile devices as well as on a laptop or PC. Meanwhile, the ‘My Manrose’ app makes it simple for electricians, wholesalers and DIYers to find the right product for the job quickly and easily, and allows them to check technical brochures on-site to help speed-up installation. For wholesalers, they can show customers the My Manrose app instead of flicking through brochures trying to find the right product.
