Macbeth is on track to secure its name as one of the Thames Valley’s fastest-growing chartered insurance brokers following a series of new team appointments.

The firm, which also comprises a leading financial services offering, has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Theo Pastuch as client director.

Joining from Lorica, Pastuch brings with him over 30 years’ corporate experience looking after the insurance needs of large businesses throughout the UK. His role at Macbeth will see him further developing the firm’s proposition for its rapidly-expanding corporate client-base.

Also joining the Macbeth team is Peter Emerton who was previously at Jelf’s Reading operation. As client manager, Emerton brings 40 years’ commercial experience, specialising in Thames Valley-based SMEs and supporting Macbeth’s organic growth in this area.

Matt Barton joins as client manager from Academy in a newly-created role to drive Macbeth’s sustained commitment to small businesses, and Lynsey Sanders joins in a broker support role.

Macbeth MD Paul Macbeth commented: “I’m delighted to strengthen our team with such fantastic people. We have an ambitious and exciting vision for the future, with further additions to our team due, and Theo, Peter, Matt and Lynsey all have a key role to play within this. I’m confident that their experience, enthusiasm and total dedication to client service will help us achieve this growth.”

Pastuch added: “It’s very exciting to be joining an established, yet fast-growing business like Macbeth. From my perspective, what sets the firm apart is the fact it’s a truly independent, local chartered broker, meaning we can create a bespoke service for Thames Valley businesses. It’s great to be part of a team with a simple but clear philosophy: 'to put our clients first at all times'.”

Working with clients across a range of sectors, Macbeth is recognised as a key regional player with emerging professions including IT, recruitment, media and life science.
