Reading: Growing your business to sell?
Are you growing your business in order to eventually sell it? Do you want to hear from company owners who have successfully sold their businesses and have never looked back?
A special one-off breakfast panel discussion on Growing & Selling a Business in the Thames Valley will be held at Green Park, Reading, on Tuesday, April 4.
Open to business owners and founders, the debate will be a forum to explore some of the issues involved in planning for sale and then eventually going through the process. Two entrepreneurs who have successfully completed the sale of their businesses are on hand to give their insights.
The event, staged by business sales specialist BCMS and The Business Magazine, will be hosted by law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys at its offices in Green Park, from 8am to 10am.
The audience will be invited to pose questions and join in the discussion with the panel, and the debate will be chaired by Liz Jackson, MBE.
Participants will gain unique insights into the following:
- Should you sell to a trade buyer, organise a management buyout (MBO), or keep the business in the family?
- Are you already on another company’s radar? Has someone made an offer to buy your business?
- Is succession planning and exit strategy really necessary?
- If you decide to sell, what is life like through and after the acquisition process?
Following a dedicated Q&A session, you’ll leave with a complimentary information pack full of advice, analysis and tips on how to approach a potential sale.
