Goringe Accountants, a fast-growing accountancy firm with offices in Reading and London, has been announced a winner at the first ever SME Finance Awards. The firm was awarded Best Full-Service Financial Solutions Firm - South East England.

The SME Finance Awards recognise financial specialists across the UK who continually show excellence and outstanding expertise that helps businesses to thrive in an increasingly challenging corporate climate.

Goringe, with a team of 22 people and a portfolio of over 500 clients, was chosen as winners of the category by having demonstrated a high level of expertise within accountancy alongside dedication to customer service, and commitment to excellence and innovation.

Nicky Goringe Larkin, founder and managing director of the firm, said: “We are delighted to have won this award and it is a great reflection of the dedication and hard work of everyone at Goringe.

“Having such great team support has been a key driver to our business success and we look forward to further growth, particularly in providing outsourcing services to SME’s in the coming year. We’ve seen a continued rising demand from organisations seeking to benefit from the cost savings made by contracting out their finance division to gain a fully-fledged, flexible finance department."

Chloe Smart, organiser of the SME Finance awards, said: “Small and Medium sized businesses are the cornerstone of British industry. At the start of 2018, 99.3% of all private-sector businesses and 99.9% were small or medium-sized. There is no denying that the finance industry – including accountancy services and personal finance advice – provides the wherewithal for businesses in today’s market to flourish. Nicky Goringe Larkin and her team are a shining testament to this as winners, as a thriving and agile accountancy firm with a bright future ahead.”
