Reading: GCS named in The Sunday Times International Track 200
For the second consecutive year, GCS Recruitment Specialists, with offices in Reading, London and Dublin, has achieved a place in The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200.
The 2014 edition of the list, now in its fifth year, sees GCS ranked at number 27, a remarkable 107 place improvement on last year's position at 134th.
"Being recognised as one of the UK’s top 30 fastest-growing international businesses is a huge achievement," said GCS business manager Tim Dunne, who leads the Dublin-based office. "We got off to a good start last year and our efforts this year have only strengthened our standing in the competitive international market."
GCS' IT-focused Ireland team, which was transitioned from London to Dublin in 2013, has shown a two-year average international sales growth of 81.01%, and the most recent figures indicate that international sales now provide nearly 10% of entire company turnover.
"When you consider we are in the initial stages of international expansion, the percentage of our turnover that comes from outside of the UK is impressive," said GCS director Chris Devonshire. "Our continued growth overseas has proved that our strategy is working and will create the template for further expansion of our business into Europe."
