Reading course aims to create next generation of salespeople
A Reading bootcamp is launching which will focus on creating the next generation of salespeople.
The 32-hour course is based at The Curious Lounge , starting on March 29, and will run twice a week for four hours over four weeks and is open to people aged 18 - 24.
A release from The Curious Lounge said: "Do you enjoy problem solving? Can you ask questions and really listen to the answers? Want a job that challenges and stimulates you? Are you aged 18-24 (ish), looking for your first job or maybe looking for a more rewarding or higher paid job? Have you considered a career in sales?"
Applications are currently open to secure a fully sponsored place which offer the opportunity to learn new skills and meet employers offering entry level sales roles with salaries starting from £20k.
The Curious Lounge are offering four different ways to apply and will award places on a first come, first served basis to the best applications.
Ways to apply:
1) complete an online application form
2) make a one minute video and send the link to [email protected]
3) create a short presentation explaining why you want a place on the bootcamp, what a career in sales mean to you and something else people should know about you
4) book a slot to pitch at The Curious Lounge for your space
The course, funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund, is run from The Curious Lounge in Reading town centre, CPD accredited and is taught by people who work in sales.
Topics covered include sales job roles and the role of marketing, prospecting customers, sales storytelling, sales in a digital world, sales questioning alongside negotiation and closing.
