Reading-based Blandy & Blandy LLP has been named as a top-ranked firm for the region in the 2015 edition of the Chambers UK guide, unveiled at an exclusive launch event held in London’s Covent Garden on October 30.

Chambers' guides recommend the world’s best lawyers in all important areas of law in 185 countries. The UK guide covers 50 cities and counties in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Blandy & Blandy is described as having a ‘reputation for high-quality, high-value expertise’ and ‘often regarded as a cost-effective alternative to a City firm’.

The firm is top ranked in five separate areas and the property and corporate teams have impressively climbed one tier in highly competitive categories. Headway is also being made in the restructuring and insolvency category, with new partner David Murray ranked.

Joint managing partner Phil D’Arcy commented: “We are delighted that our strength in so many areas has been recognised and that we have maintained our status as a ‘leading firm’. This year’s rankings clearly show the quality and breadth of our expertise and highlight why we are superbly placed to provide our private and commercial clients with a full range of legal services tailored to their needs.”
