Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy LLP has acted for existing client All Around Service in the international sale of its Reading-based subsidiary company, Taylor & Goodman, to the Dutch group Peja Producten B.V.Founded in 1948, Taylor & Goodman is headquartered in Reading with further offices in Brierly Hill, Bishop’s Stortford, Eastbourne, and Middlesbrough. Taylor & Goodman specialises in manufacturing, supplying and servicing electrical and mechanical motors for industrial end users with customers in many sectors. Clients include Thames Water and Southern Water.

Peja Producten was founded in 1937 as a general trading company and the organisation has evolved to include industrial components, automation, venture capital, property, finance and investments under its banner.

The Blandy & Blandy team was led by partner and head of corporate David Few. He was assisted by associate Peter Woolley and solicitor Christopher Wilson. The team advised on the corporate and insolvency aspects of the sale of the entire issued share capital of Taylor & Goodman to Peja Producten. Employment associate Sukhpal Matharoo advised on the employment law aspects of the deal.

The Reading office of Morgan Cole LLP acted for Peja Producten.

Few said: “This was a particularly interesting deal to work on, as at the time of sale, Taylor & Goodman had various outstanding loans which needed to be restructured, which added a layer of complexity to the transaction. In the current economic climate, we were very pleased with the successful completion of the sale. We wish Taylor & Goodman and Peja Producten every success in the future.”
