Robert Bion and Co was named SME of the Year in front of 300 business people at a Thames Valley awards ceremony at the Hilton, Reading.
The category, sponsored by Highfield Park, saw the bespoke metal and plastic perforating company, based in Portman Road, Reading, come out on top.
Bion has been supplying quality perforated metal and plastic products in the UK and Europe since 1964. Privately owned, the company's core vision has remained the same, although the market it serves has endured major changes: supplying the right products to the right people at the right time.
In 2017 Bion was a Regional Winner (South East) in the Future Manufacturing Partnerships Awards, in recognition of its work with schools and others promoting STEM awareness.
