A flourishing private GP service operating across the Cotswolds and Midlands has scooped another top business award.

Concierge Medical was named the West Midlands High Growth Business of the Year at the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Regional Awards on Friday (March 6) and will now progress to the UK finals, where it will be aiming to add another award to its growing list of accolades.

The business was founded in 2013, offering a seven-day-a-week home-visiting GP service and its membership has since grown to around 2,500 clients.

Managing partner Kat Carrick said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award and gained recognition and appreciation for the work we are doing.

“The majority of our members are from the small business community, so it’s doubly satisfying to be recognised among our peers in this way.

“Our passion is to provide the best healthcare service to every one of our members and we will continue to strive to deliver that.”

It is the latest in a long line of awards for Concierge, most recently including the Best Midlands Rural Professional Services Business at the 2019 Rural Business Awards and the New Venture award from the Richardson Brothers Foundation, which gained them a £30,000 investment in the business.

The FSB is focused on helping smaller businesses grow and the awards are held to recognise the huge contribution smaller businesses and the self-employed make to the UK economy.

The High Growth prize awarded to Concierge is in recognition of ‘businesses that have experienced exceptional growth in sales, profit, market share or employment’.
