Prince’s Trust Enterprise Network launches in the South West
Entrepreneurs are being invited to the launch of the Prince’s Trust Enterprise Network in the South West which is being sponsored by Evelyn Partners, the leading integrated wealth management and professional services group created from the merger of Tilney and Smith & Williamson.
A special event to launch the regional network – which will bring together entrepreneurs who are passionate about supporting young people in setting up their own businesses – will be held on November 24 at the Belmont Estate in Wraxall, North Somerset, near Bristol.
Those taking part will include serial entrepreneur Jamie Waller, chair of the Enterprise Network, and Chris Cole, founding member of the Enterprise Network in the South West, both champions of young entrepreneurs.
As well as networking with like-minded and established entrepreneurs, attendees will also get the chance to meet and hear from inspiring young entrepreneurs who have been supported by The Prince’s Trust. The charity is one of the UK’s leading youth organisations which gives young people the skills and opportunities they need to turn their lives around.
Since its creation in 1983, the Enterprise programme has helped over 90,000 young entrepreneurs to launch their own businesses, including around 250 in Bristol and the South West.
This powerful reality of the Prince’s Trust helping young people to help themselves is the key reason that Tamsin and Bill Rossiter, owners of the Belmont Estate, have been patrons for more than 10 years and why, in their own words, they feel privileged to host this event at Belmont.
Charlotte Fairhurst, business development director at Evelyn Partners, said: “We are proud to support the incredible work of the Prince’s Trust by sponsoring the Enterprise Network in the South West.
“We are looking for entrepreneurs who have successfully established their own ventures and are able to donate their time and expertise to support young entrepreneurs as they begin their journey in business.
“You don’t have to be physically based in the South West but a strong link to the region would be helpful. Having a strong social conscience and desire to support the younger generation is also important.”
Andy Doherty, Philanthropy Manager at The Prince’s Trust, said: “The Prince’s Trust has partnered with wealth management company Evelyn Partners for our Enterprise Network events throughout the UK. Evelyn has a strong network of quality people in its 26 towns and cities that it operates in, and we are very grateful for their support and energy in assisting us helping the young people realise their entrepreneurial ambitions.”
