Enterprise 09 is a new and innovative event designed to create a one-stop shop for business advice and information for local business leaders.

If you are looking for some inspiration to raise your energy levels and boost your business skills, the Enterprise 09 Event will bring together 500 businesses in the Portsmouth area.

The purpose of the event is to provide small businesses with the information, advice and inspiration to help manage their business through these difficult times.

The event will feature the best in business support, inspirational speakers, and great opportunities to network, collaborate and promote your business – it is a must for all local business leaders in 2009, says Business Link.

The final agenda will be a fun and informative day which will include:

• 12 information stations

• Facilitated networking

• 36 discussion forum topics

• Business advice booths

• The networking wall

• A choice of 14 seminar topics

• Networking café

• Enterprise showcase

• Business support organisations

• Human potential clinics

The facilitated networking sessions will introduce delegates to other local business people, leaving contact details on the networking wall and stop for a coffee in the networking café.

Business advice booths will offer a free 15-minute advice session with business advisers and experts, lawyers and accountants. Human potential clinics can help identify how delegates can achieve more with a free 15 minute taster session from a business or personal coach.

Enterprise 09 is free and is supported by a consortium of business support organisations including:

Business Link; Harbour Economic Development Forum; Portsmouth City Council; The Portsmouth News; Portsmouth & South East Hampshire Chamber of Commerce; Portsmouth Technopole; and University of Portsmouth
