BOFA International, world leaders in industrial process fume and dust extraction technology, is expanding its reach in Europe by opening new offices in Hamburg, Germany.

The company, which specialises in technology that removes hazardous airborne contaminants created during industrial processes, has opened the new centre as part of its strategy to grow its business across central Europe.

BOFA currently employs 200 people in the UK, and has a team of 22 people operating out of its fast-growing US facility. The new facility in Germany which includes sales, technical and warehousing is a key part of BOFA’s international growth strategy, enabling the company to work more closely with its existing customers throughout Europe whilst meeting the increasing demand for new opportunities through both OEM and distribution partners.

Around the rest of the world, BOFA is supported by a network of distribution partners who help the company sell its technologies into multiple industry sectors in over 100 countries.

The office in Germany builds on a period of rapid growth for BOFA over the past two years, following a management buyout. It recently celebrated its 30th year in business by winning a Queen’s Award for Innovation to add to its Queen’s Award for Export in 2012. The company sells 90% of its products overseas.
