The second episode of The Business Magazine Property Podcast, in partnership with MSP Capital, looks at strategies that the industry can adopt in the face of a slowing market.

This is a podcast aimed at people working in the property industry in the South of England and will explore the challenges but more importantly the opportunities that are present within the market by bringing fresh perspectives from key figures in the property industry.

On this episode, we are joined by Lee Merrifield of MSP Capital, Nicola King of Wellington King Chartered Surveyors and David Fanchi of Lester Aldridge Solicitors.

The panel discusses the current market and which sectors are performing well, which are challenged before moving onto how best to dispose of a building which can't find a buyer.

We hear how lenders play a key role in helping developers through challenging times and which developers are getting it right.

The panel also looks ahead to the next 12 months and predicts what condition the market will be in.

David Fanchi of Lester Aldridge Solicitors, in the podcast, describes a novel and very accurate description of the current market.
