The Oxfordshire Business Awards has returned for 2024 and businesses of all sizes are invited to participate in the county's most prestigious Awards.

Having recognised the achievements of thousands of the county’s businesses, including accolades for new businesses, innovative businesses and large businesses, the Oxfordshire Business Awards continue to go from strength to strength.

Excitingly for 2024, the Awards launches with two new Award categories being The Oxford Trust & Oxfordshire Business First Emerging Tech Business Award and The Cherry Picked Residential Property Developer of the Year Award.

The OXBA committee have enlisted the support of six new sponsors namely Cherry Picked Residential, Darcica Logistics, First Sight Media, Greatest Hits Radio, Metro Bank and The Oxford Trust.

Returning sponsors from 2023 include, Hays, James Cowper Kreston, Mathews Comfort, Oxford Brookes Business School, Oxfordshire LEP, RWK Goodman, The Oxford Science Park, That Event Company and The Business Magazine.

Richard Wratten, Regional Director from Hays said: “At Hays we’re proud to be sponsoring the Oxfordshire Business Awards again. As a business that focuses on talent and workforce solutions it makes absolute sense for Hays to put its name behind these prestigious Awards, that promotes and recognises innovative and new ideas from organisations across Oxfordshire. It’s always a privilege to see for myself the exciting things that Oxfordshire businesses are doing, and the fact that entering the awards is free of charge means it is a truly inclusive opportunity for all”.

Since the Oxfordshire Business Awards began in 1994, the Awards continue to have a positive impact on the county’s business community and individuals as well as helping to promote excellence across all sectors.

Nigel Tipple – Chief Executive of OxLEP said: “We are delighted to once again support the Oxfordshire Business Awards – an event that has become a thoroughly-established date in the county’s business calendar, celebrating the success of our fantastic business community. We hope more businesses than ever before will consider entering this year’s Awards and would absolutely encourage them to do so and gain the recognition they deserve.”

Following the launch of the 28th Oxfordshire Business Awards on Thursday 18 January, businesses from across Oxfordshire can now enter the 2024 Awards, with a variety of categories to choose from. To enter your business or to nominate a business for an Oxfordshire Business Award, visit the Awards website.

Paul Lowe, OXBA Chairman said: “We welcome back our sponsors from last year alongside the arrival of six new sponsors for 2024. It is always great to bring in new sponsors to the Awards, in order to inject new ideas and new Award categories. Thank you to all of you not only for your financial commitment but also for the time you give to the Awards and your wonderful ideas. Winning an Oxfordshire Business Award brings genuine recognition and acknowledgement amongst peers – therefore, on behalf of the OXBA team, I encourage businesses to consider entering these prestigious Awards.”
