Thousands of healthcare jobs are being created in the Thames Valley on the back of a prestigious NHS contract in the region. In response to this – and following an appointment by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust – national recruitment and health service provider CRG (Castlerock Recruitment Group) has opened a new office in the area.

Located in Bicester, the office will address the ongoing staffing needs of Oxford Health NHS as well as provide a wide range of healthcare services and medical staffing solutions for qualified health care professionals and employers in the area.

Senior recruitment consultant Lisa Boughen said: “CRG’s new office is well positioned to support our healthcare professionals throughout Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire and, as we expand, we plan to take on several new recruitment consultants to help match candidates with the needs of regional employers.”

CRG’s contract will involve providing community-based nursing and social care workers, medical locums and GP locums, occupational and speech therapists and mental health professionals to regional employers in the Oxford Health NHS network.

The appointment grants CRG tier-one supply status and accounts for over 70% of the Trust’s agency roles across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. As a preferred supplier, candidates who register with CRG will be entitled to receive first choice on many short-term and long-term assignments throughout these regions.

Ian Munro, CEO of CRG, said: “We are delighted to be working with the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust to help meet its demand for community-based healthcare professionals. The launch of our Oxfordshire branch signifies our commitment to developing relationships with healthcare professionals in the region and matching them with the wealth of employment opportunities available in the area.”

CRG is the preferred supplier to major public sector organisations, including the NHS and MoD.  Its private sector clients include: Spire Healthcare, Ramsay Healthcare, Nuffield Hospitals and General Healthcare Group (including BMI Hospitals). The company’s client base also includes charitable organisations such as Macintyre, Mencap and Care UK.
