The owners of Oxford’s Gees Bar and Restaurant have announced a business refurbishment and investment of £1million.

The restaurant is located in a Grade II listed Victorian Glasshouse first built in 1897.

Gees’ owners have secured the building next door in order to expand the business with the creation of a new 'Gees Gallery and Secret Garden.'

The expansion will double capacity at Gees to over 220 customers.

“We are bringing Gees cooking facilities into the 21st century with the latest equipment, along with much-improved working conditions for our chefs. I would also like to say that we are making a huge, post covid declaration of faith in the wonderful potential of our city.”
