Moorcrofts LLP has advised Mathematical Market Research (MMR) on the company's recent acquisition of creative video and visual design agency Ideal Insight.

MMR is a leading market research business with expertise across the food and drink, household and personal care sectors. The acquisition provides MMR with a dedicated team of expert designers, videographers, photographers and animators and will supplement the services that MMR provides to its clients. Specifically, the acquisition will allow MMR's clients to better utilise video and visual media.

MMR Group's global CEO, Matthew Lintern, said: "We received great counsel from our advisers at Moorcrofts and Shaw Gibbs throughout the process which was key to meeting our objectives and bringing the transaction to a successful close. Thank you."

Marlow-based Moorcrofts' partner and head of corporate, Teri Hunter, led the deal with support from Mohsin Shabbir. Employment support was provided by Nicola Whelan and Matt Jenkin, commercial property support provided by Ian Hylton and commercial contract support provided by Tim Astley.

Teri Hunter said: "We are delighted to have assisted MMR on this acquisition. We wish Mat and his team the very best for the Company's future and we look forward to working with them again."

Shaw Gibbs CF provided corporate finance and tax advice for MMR.
