Osborne Clarke advises Compass Group on acquisition of Regency Purchasing Group

Bristol headquartered law firm Osborne Clarke has advised Foodbuy Europe Limited, part of the publicly listed Compass Group PLC ("Compass"), the world’s largest food and support services business, on its acquisition of Regency Purchasing Group. 

Based in Weston-Super-Mare, Regency Purchasing Group provides purchasing and operations solutions to more than 5,000 sites ranging from independent sites to large groups. The company has a strong national footprint operating across the hospitality and leisure market as it commits to creating a leaner and smarter cost base as well as being able to share its experience to improve operational efficiency. 

Foodbuy provide expert procurement services to their wide range of foodservice and hospitality clients through outstanding data analysis driven forward by a team of 200 professionals. 

Foodbuy and Regency Purchasing Group will share a partnership approach to operations, allowing both businesses to continue to maximise savings, improve quality and identify new ways of innovation for clients.
