North Worcestershire based companies are invited to enter a competition to win a valuable package of PR support.

Entries are now open to win a valuable prize, which includes a spotlight month in the Celebrating North Worcestershire Calendar 2020, a company photoshoot, an invite to the winners event at Hogarth’s Stone Manor near Kidderminster, an on-line business profile on the Business and Innovation Magazine website, a dedicated showcase in the monthly NWEDR newsletter, and pride of place in the Celebrating North Worcestershire 2020 calendar on display in hundreds of business locations around the area. There will be 12 prize winners.

Entering the ‘Natural Environment for Business’ competition is easy. Businesses across North Worcestershire are asked to submit up to 50 words on why they think the area is an exciting and inspiring place for their business.  Email your entry to communications@nwedr.org.uk.

This is the second Celebrating North Worcestershire competition organised by North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration (NWedR) with NWBL – the North Worcestershire Business Leaders network group.

The competition last year was hailed as a great success and showcased twelve winning businesses: Severn Group, Millbrook Marketing, Surf Tech, MPC Redditch Ltd, GT Access, Eureka Financial Solutions, Andrew Philips Insurance Brokers, Rotary Creative, Hogarths Stone Manor, Danton HR, Flexible minds, Sign Solutions Bromsgrove. All businesses are based in North Worcestershire covering Bromsgrove, Redditch and the Wyre Forest area.

Jane Doyle, Communications and Engagement Officer for NWedR said: “We have once again joined with NWBL to organise this competition to highlight what a great place North Worcestershire is to do business.  The area has so much to offer whether you are a small or large business or if you provide goods or services.  Our organisations along with the North Worcestershire Ambassadors are committed to giving businesses in the area a voice, and we thought this was a creative and visual way to showcase this.”

Melanie Hawkett who founded and runs North Worcestershire Business Leaders (NWBL) said: “We’re pleased that local businesses got into the spirit of the competition for the 2019 calendar and decided that we should repeat the project and give the PR opportunity to a further 12 businesses this year.”

The competition is open for entries until Wednesday 1 May 2019. Entries should be submitted to communications@nwedr.org.uk
