Sean Bucknall has been promoted to partner at corporate recovery and business advisory specialists Quantuma.
He said: “This is a reflection of the superb work Sean has done both locally in the Brighton office, and also working with partner Andrew Hosking, in developing our credentials in the distressed legal sector. While we will continue to make lateral hires at senior level to deliver on our growth aspirations, we are also committed to bringing our own people through the business, and Sean’s promotion is a great example of our commitment to nurturing our in-house talent.”
Sean Bucknall began his career with Numerica before working as an administrator and manager at RSM Tenon. He joined Quantuma in 2013 was promoted to director in January 2016.

Working alongside partner Andrew Hosking, he has been instrumental in a number of high-profile administrations in the legal sector in recent years, including King & Wood Mallesons LLP, Jeffrey Green Russell, GT Law, Challinors Solicitors, St John Law, LA Law, Gregsons Solicitors, Sovereign Solicitors, Almond Solicitors and most recently, Burroughs Day.
His promotion takes effect on the same day that Maxine Reid joins Quantuma’s Brighton office as a partner from Kreston Reeves.
