Donnington Grove Country Club, near Newbury, is to be managed by Macdonald Hotels & Resorts.The owner of the 32-bedroom hotel, Sandtrend, has agreed to the deal. It is understood current staff will be retained, and the general manager, Nigel Green, will remain in charge.
Macdonald manages some 40 hotels in the UK and Spain.
