"After nearly a year of planning and hard work, we are very excited to unveil The WonderWorks, and to bring a new energy to the way we showcase our iconic brands,” said Olly Raeburn, CEO of Hornby Hobbies, who was quoted in the 'cene web edition.
"The WonderWorks will offer visitors an entirely new, interactive experience, which is both the ultimate haven for enthusiasts and the ideal introduction for those new to the world of miniature.”
As well as interacting with exhibitions, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the history of the company and to learn how Hornby, Airfix, CORGI, Scalextric and Pocher make their models and kits, it reported.
The centre also has a shop and cafe.
The previous Hornby Visitor Centre attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world and was featured on TV series 'Hornby: A Model World'.
