A national  award-winning domestic housekeeping business, Bright & Beautiful, is celebrating its tenth year of business with a relocation of its Head Office to Banbury from Manchester.

Located on Horse Fair, near Banbury Cross, Bright & Beautiful is part of Neighbourly, the world’s largest franchisor of home service brands, and it joins the other five brands within the same family, including Aire Serv, Countrywide Grounds Maintenance, Drain Doctor, Dream Doors and Mr. Electric.

Based in Waco, Texas, USA, Neighbourly (formerly DwyerGroup) opened its doors in 1981 with only one brand. It is now the holding company of 18 service-based franchise organisations with more than 3,100 franchises in nine countries.

Bright & Beautiful was established in 2007 and then set up its first ever pilot franchise in 2010 in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.  The ethical business has grown its national network to more than 65 franchise owners, created a workforce of more than 850+ local people and hit a record turnover in excess of £8 million in 2019.

In ten years, the fully managed service-based franchise, which provides eco-friendly cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing, has delivered more than 150,000 home service cleans and one-off cleans every year to over 4,000 clients. Further growth is planned for 2020, including generating new professional housekeeping roles to bring the workforce to over 1,000 and achieving an annual turnover in excess of £10 million.

Sue Moore, Managing Director of Bright & Beautiful, said: “We’re so proud of reaching our tenth-year anniversary in franchising and to relocate to Banbury, where we can join the rest of the Neighbourly family and be more cohesive as an organisation.  This move will enable our support staff and franchisees to be more centrally located within the UK.

“We are continually growing our network of 65+ franchisees, who are not only providing hundreds of local jobs across the UK, but offering progressive career opportunities for their professional housekeepers, including promotions to customer service and senior operational roles.   This next decade is going to be even brighter for Bright & Beautiful where we’ll achieve even greater milestones.”

Bright & Beautiful’s Head Office, which was based in Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester for eight years, now operates from offices in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
