Meachers' fleet gets £1.5million overhaul
Southampton freight and transport company, Meachers Global Logistics, have invested £1.5 million in upgrading their fleet.
The investment sees vehicles fitted with the latest camera technology in line with the London direct vision permits.
The investment also includes a comprehensive trailer replacement scheme.
Meachers Global Logistics has expanded its fleet with six new specialist vehicles as part of a £1.5million investment programme designed to offer a wider range of services to customers.
The company has replaced vehicles at its Nursling headquarters with five DAF XG Tractor units and a further two DAF CF 26T tail lift rigids have been acquired for its Palletways base in Fair Oak.
More fleet replacements will follow during the course of the next year.
