Marlow’s The Burnside Partnership promotes Alison Craggs to partner
The Burnside Partnership, a specialist private client consultancy based in Marlow, has promoted Alison Craggs to Partner.
Alison, who was name a Legal 500 2023 ‘Rising Star’, joined the firm two years ago, having previously worked at both London and Oxford law firms.
Her experience in private client law spans more than 15 years, specializing in the preparation and registration of powers of attorney, the administration of estates and drafting tax-efficient wills. She has also been published in a number of journals including the Trusts and Estates Law & Tax Journal and Family Law Journal.
In addition to her core specialism, Alison has a proven record working with clients affected by dementia and disabilities. She is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly; the Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends initiative; appears on the Alzheimer’s Research UK list of solicitors; and has presented at Mencap’s conferences on trusts for disabled people. She is also a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as a recognised specialist in inheritance and successions planning.
